Please review our transit timelines, equipment requirements, and transport terms prior to placing your order.
Destination State / Region Estimated Delivery Window

New South Wales (NSW) Metro 2 – 3 Business Days
Queensland (QLD) Metro 2 – 3 Business Days
Western Australia (WA) Metro 7 – 9 Business Days
Tasmania (TAS) 9 – 11 Business Days

Estimated Delivery Timelines
Our transit times vary by location. Timelines apply to packaged stock orders placed before our daily order cutoff time (10:00 PM AEST, Monday to Friday).
Essential Site Requirements (Pack Deliveries)
Due to the heavy and hazardous nature of industrial chemical packaging, customers must meet strict site unloading criteria to receive goods:
-
Forklift Requirement (Orders > 100kg) : Customers must have an operational forklift and a licensed operator on-site to unload any order total weighing over 100kg (such as multiple heavy pails, a 200L drum, or a 1000L IBC).
-
Hand Unloading Policy : Drivers are strictly prohibited from hand-unloading drums or IBCs from transport vehicles due to workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
-
Failed Delivery Fees : If a delivery vehicle arrives and your site lacks the required unloading equipment, the goods will be returned to our depot. A futile delivery fee and secondary redelivery charge will apply.
Bulk Deliveries ( Tanker / ISO Tanks)
For bulk deliveries above delivery timeline applies. However, our logistics team will contact you directly upon order placement to confirm delivery windows. Site safety inspection will be required before the delivery for the sites which are receiving bulk delivery for the first time.
Standard Transport Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Western Solvents, you agree to the following industrial freight conditions:
-
Dangerous Goods (DG) Compliance : The majority of our product range comprises Class 3 Flammable Liquids or other regulated hazardous materials. All shipments are dispatched using fully compliant, placarded Dangerous Goods transport networks.
-
Tailgate / Hydraulic Lift Requests : If your facility does not have a forklift but you are ordering under 100kg (or require a specialized tailgate truck for smaller pallet profiles), you must request and arrange this with our team prior to dispatch. Surcharges apply for tailgate delivery services.
-
Clear and Safe Access : The delivery site must provide unobstructed, stable, and safe access for heavy rigid vehicles or semi-trailers. Drivers reserve the right to refuse delivery if the site entry poses a safety risk to the driver, public, or environment.
-
Authority to Leave (ATL) : Due to the hazardous nature of solvents and chemicals, Authority to Leave (ATL) without a signature is strictly prohibited. A authorized site representative must be present to sign the Dangerous Goods manifest and delivery docket.
-
Demurrage and Waiting Times : Standard delivery rates include up to 20 minutes of on-site vehicle allocation for unloading. If a driver is delayed on your site beyond this window due to unready staff or blocked bays, demurrage charges billed at an hourly rate may be passed onward to the customer.
If you have specific site access limitations or need to check freight pricing for regional zones, please contact the Western Solvents Pty Ltd at sales@westernsolvents.com.au.
